No innovation blog would be complete without paying homage to one of the most creative and innovative geniuses of our time, Steve Jobs. With no business training and no college degree he proved that with hard work and a dream he could change the world.

Jobs and Wozniak started Apple Computers in his parents’ basement. Jobs was 20 at the time. Ten years later it grew into a $2 billion dollar business with 4,000 employees.

Then he got fired from his own business and went on to say that it was the best thing that ever happened to him. The most creative time in his life happened because of getting fired.

Steve Jobs always believed that the little guy could compete against the big corporations and he was right. Competing against the big guys means you have to constantly be innovating. And that is something that Apple never stopped doing.
